Grofun Spring Update
Dear All,
Spring is nearly upon us and here at GROFUN HQ there are exciting plans afoot.
Firstly, we will be escaping the office and getting out onto the plot and into our new polytunnel!
This year we will be raising our own heirloom vegetable variety seedlings to sell. We will release a list in a few weeks of plants you can order from us. Just think of the time you’ll save-getting baby plants which are past the ’slug-food’ stage, ready to pop in your garden and water!
The Many Hands Allotment in St Werburghs will be open to volunteers on Fridays and Saturdays between noon and 5pm from Friday March 12th onwards. Refreshments provided. We hope to see you there!
This season we plan to demonstrate a simple crop rotation on our new plot, plant some more soft fruit and build a pizza oven. Plus all the usual ‘Plot Luck’ shared meal we love so much.
Anyone wanting their own garden make-over can come and earn their credit hours here.
In April there will be another series of practical gardening Skill Shops-more on this to follow soon.
Also, there is now a calender on the community page of our website where all action days, events and skill shops will be entered.

Finally we are creating a new membership system which will mean that you can support GROFUN’s projects with a subscription, the benefits of which will be released in February.
