Food Sovereignty is the right of peoples to healthy and local food produced and traded through just and sustainable methods. In advance of The international day of peasant’s struggle we explore why this is so important, with films and discussion, and ask how this can best be achieved in the face of increasing corporate control of land and world food markets. Bristol is rife with exciting food projects all attempting to give more power over food to people not the market. Join Bristol WDM for a series of short films on food sovereignty from across the world interspersed by lively and relevant discussion.
